I'm no expert, but I think g77 version 3.4.3 is incompatible with the gcc 4 toolchain in Xcode 2.2.1. Try using a different fortran compiler (known to work with gcc 4), or try switching to gcc 3.3 using "gcc_select" ("man gcc_select" for info). Perhaps Apple's fortran list could provide better suggestions. /Per On Feb 12, 2006, at 12:05, Samuel H. x86-64 is an 64-bit extension of 32-bit generation of x86 instruction set. It's first implemented by AMD and supported by AMD64 processor. It's the beginning of 64-bit generation. Most on-market CPU models, like Interl Core 2 and the one I am using Intel Core i7, are based on x86-64 architecture.
As a follow up I thought I'd put together a list of useful python libraries for data science

To do such, replace the implementations for switch1Changed(_:), switch2Changed(_:), and switch3Changed(_:) with the following:

I am in the process of implementing Aquaterm on my Macbook pro MacOSX 10.6.8 running GCC gfortran. I would like to call Aquaterm directly from my fortran not using plplot or gnuplot or pgplot. here is my gfortran version. gfortran -v Using built-in specs. Target: i386-apple-darwin8.10.1 Configured with: /tmp/gfortran-20090604/ibin/../gcc/configure --prefix=/usr/local/gfortran --enable-languages=c,fortran --with-gmp=/tmp/gfortran-20090604/gfortran_libs --enable-bootstrap Thread model: posix gcc version 4.5.0 20090604 (experimental) [trunk revision 148180] (GCC) How do I modify the makefile??? ## ## GNU g77 ## # fc=g77 # FFLAGS=-fcase-preserve This is my best guess ## GNU gfortran ## fc=gortran #FFLAGS=-fcase-preserve Any help would be greatly appreciated.
